First Sea Day - Morning

On our first sea day, Grandma Trudy slept in while the rest of us ate breakfast. Then Ross and I dropped Sweet Pea off at the kids club and headed to a trivia game. I was waiting for the game to start when another woman came into the room. She headed towards me and I thought she was going to ask to be my partner, but she pointed at me and said, "You're going down!"

I busted out laughing and said, "I though you were going to ask to be my partner." She was like "Oh, well okay. That sounds good too." And thus began an excellent trivia partnership with her and her brother. We did not win the first round, but did fairly well.

After that, I collected Sweet Pea and we played a game of flag trivia which was terrible. Flags are not my strongman suit. Sweet Pea did however get us a point by recognizing the Australian flag.

After a morning of trivia, we woke up Grandma Trudy and bright her to lunch in the main dining room n

I had a gazpacho soup which was meh.

Ross and Sweet Pea had fried mozzarella sticks which were a highlight. These were great last time and just as good again this time.

For a main course, Grandma Trusy had chicken pot pie that she liked a lot.

Sweet Pea ordered orecchiette pasta which was much better this cruise than on our last one. It was much less dry and so she really liked it this time.

I had a really good duck with jasmine rice and bok choy in an Asian sauce. Very good.

Ross had a cob salad which he liked.

For dessert, Grandma Trudy had a strawberry short cake.

Sweet Pea and I both had pecan pie. She liked it, but I don't like it very much.

Ross had a peach crumble which was pretty good.
