First Sea Day - Afternoon

Sweet Pea is now in the "Ensigns" section of the kids club. She likes the activities there much better than the "cadets" section that she was in last time. Also, there are many more kids on this cruise than our last one so she is having a wonderful time.

This is our activity schedule for the day.

We stopped by the cafe for an afternoon pick-me-up. They make a fantastic chai latte here and always serve it with a biscotti. Yum!

We explored the ship a bit and tried to sit out on the pool deck, but it was too windy and cold.

We moved into the covered Solarium area and enjoyed each other's company and the view.

Grandma Trudy saw some couches so had to move over there for a while.

More trivia! Lost again. What is the name of the world tree in Norse mythology? We didn't know it either.

Fresh brewed iced tea was waiting for us in our room. We loved it.

And a snack! A bite of fresh salsa, hummus and crackers was just what we needed.

The indoor Solarium swimming pool was open again for families for a few hours so Ross and I swam with Sweet Pea until it was time to get ready for dinner. The pool was really nice. It is a heated salt water pool so it was very relaxing.
